Brass Hose Splices or Menders

When a hose becomes damaged, it is possible to repair the hose with a splice (or commonly referred to as a mender). Splices are available in nylon and brass. The brass is sturdier, and able to be pushed on with less resistant from the hose. However, it may not be as flexible once installed as the nylon splice which has the ability to bend slightly. You will need clamps on each side of the repair.
